Education and Training

With over 30 years of experience in the salon industry, Shannon is our leader in the fundamentals of hair color. Her focus is on teaching the science behind the artistry in the worlds of grey coverage and dimensional hair color.

Shannon is accomplished in multiple disciplines of hair care and has advanced her personal skills with continuing education in Chicago, Atlanta, New York and Paris.

Maria comes to us from her hometown of Chicago where she led the hair cutting and design education team for a multi location salon. Maria’s passion for cutting carries through to not only her clients, but to the next generation of stylists. Her personal advanced education includes training with Aquage Academy as well as platform education throughout the midwest. She is the epitome of a mentor and has spearheaded our advanced training program at Shag Salon.
